President
Lina Assaf is the President and one of the co-founders of Teach A Child. Lina is married and has three children. She studied at the Lebanese American University and earned her Bachelor's in Sciences. While raising her children, she continued studying for a master’s degree in education. Lina was a very involved parent at her children's school. She founded the "Friends of IC Elementary" with a few other parents, whose mission was to promote a nicer school environment in the old IC Elementary Building. She headed the IC Parents Committee and was an active member from 2011 to 2014.
Vice President
Maya Es-Said born Maya Ghassan Saad is Vice President. Maya graduated from the American University of Beirut with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. She worked as a marketing executive in a family business of Travel & Tourism and established the company’s marketing department. She is married to Fouad Es-Said and has four children. She moved to Dubai with her husband for a few years and tutored courses in Financial and Managerial Accounting at the American University of Sharjah. Being a very involved parent and eager to be active in her children’s school, she joined the parents' committee for 6 consecutive years working on civic education projects and hygiene and security awareness. She headed several projects at the grassroots level to promote tolerance, pluralism, and sustainability through education. Strongly believing in education as a basic right of every child, she found herself naturally devoted to the cause of Teach A Child.
Treasurer
Zaina Souaid is Teach A Child's Treasurer. Born Al-Boulbol in Germany, she is married to Karim Souaid and has three children. She studied at the European Business School in Paris where she earned her BA in Management and then at the European Business School in London and Munich for her Masters in Finance. When she married she had moved back to Beirut and was a co-founder and Head of Admin and Finance for BAUHOF Lebanon, a contracting company specializing in the restoration and rehabilitation of historic buildings, during 12 years. Very much involved in the education of her children she was during 6 years an active member of the CPF’s parents’ committee as the delegate of the Security, Hygiene & Civic Education Committee. During this time, she also studied online with Oxford University and earned a BA in History of Art. Whilst not very tech savvy, she prefers the direct and hands-on approach to raise awareness to the right of children to have an education, through forums, schools & university visits and niche oriented events.
Secretary
Dana Kaaki Sinno is the secretary at Teach a Child. She is married to Mazen Sinno and has three children: Sima, Mohamad and Malek. She has a BA from the American University of Beirut and earned her MBA from the Lebanese American University while raising her kids. Dana worked as office manager at Malek Kaaki & Partners Architecture firm. Trying to improve the educational experience in her children's school, she joined IC's Parents committee Ras Beirut from 2017 to 2021 and was an active member making a tangible difference in the school. She became Vice-President of the committee from 2021 to 2024 . She is a firm believer that every child has the right to education , and it is everyone's duty to make education accessible to those who seek it.

Yasmine Ariss is co-founder of Teach A Child as well as an Executive Board Member. Born Yasmine Nabih Sidani, married to Wissam Ariss, has 4 children: Omar, Raya, Saria & Sirine. Yasmine holds a BA in Business Administration (Hartford University), Masters in Business Administration (Lebanese American University) and an MBA Cercle des Dirigeant CDD Ecole Superieure des affaires. Yasmine is also an Executive & Board member at Unigaz Group, Partner and Board member at Star Brands, Co-Founder at Smo Gallery.

Christine Dadour is married to Karim Salame and has 2 daughters. She is an Executive Board Member at Teach a Child. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Mc Gill University (Montreal) and a Masters in Money and Banking from the American University of Beirut. She is a firm believer in the importance of education and its accessibility to all. She was on the committee of Paradis d’Enfants also promoting education prior to joining Teach a Child.
Board Member
Rana Moughabghab Saab is a board member of Teach a Child. She is a Communications and Marketing expert with over 17 years of experience working with international organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the British Council. She is also a part-time instructor at the Adnan Kassar School of Business at the Lebanese American University (LAU). Rana holds a Master in Business Administration, a B.S. in Business Marketing from the Lebanese American University and a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in the UK. She has also served on the YPO Lebanon board for over 7 years.
Board Member
Ghayda Kanaan El Halwani is a board member at Teach A Child. Ghayda is a fully dedicated mother of four. She earned her Bachelor degree of science from the Lebanese American University where she studied Business administration with dual emphasis in marketing and accounting. She worked for 5 years as a manager at Primetime Entertainment Company dealing with TV program licensing in the Middle East and North Africa. She also worked for 9 years in supply chain at C-Food International, an FMCG company with international outreach. Before joining Teach A Child, Ghayda was an active member of College Louise Wegmann Parents Committee for several years. She strongly believe that education opens the minds to new perspectives and that supporting education in Lebanon is core to Lebanon’s development and continuity.
