Lama Ariss Tabbara is Secretary at Teach A Child. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences from Northeastern University in Boston. She started her career as a Computer programmer at “SEIMENS NIXDORF” in Boston. In 1992 she moved to Lebanon and worked as Computer Programmer for BANQUE DE LA MEDITERANEE. In 2001, Lama moved with her family to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and in addition to raising 3 children, Lama worked over the years in a variety of industries, such as fitness center manager and instructor as well as fashion modeling and starting her own business, The Outlet, a high end fashion excess inventory retail company. Since returning to Lebanon in 2017, Lama is now focusing on charity work to help the community.
Lama is on the Board of YPO international S/P committee, YPO Gold Lebanon www.ypo.org and Board member of Teach a Child www.teachachild.org
She is fluent in Arabic, English, French, and Spanish.
