Amal Khannak Kombarji is an Executive Board Member at Teach a Child. Amal attended the American University of Beirut for her studies and graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration. An accountant by trade, she moved to the USA after marrying Tarek Kombarji and mothered two wonderful kids Kareem and Tania. While in the USA, Amal moved between Syracuse, New York, and Dallas, Texas, where she took several courses in art, and community leadership. She then became active in serving the communities she lived in especially catering to the Arab societies. Upon Amal’s return to Lebanon she contributed her time to assisting the American Community School (ACS) and became a room mother for several years. It is Amal’s passion and commitment to education that gives her the drive and energy to assist in this honorable cause, and led her to join Teach a Child.
